Spread the God’s Love Through Humanitarian Service
During the 2019 coronavirus pandemic, when the world was gripped by fear and uncertainty, a group of enthusiastic and compassionate young individuals took it upon themselves to help the helpless. Using their own earnings and support from relatives, they delivered free food and medicine to the homes of vulnerable people. At the same time, they played a vital role in raising public awareness about the risks of the coronavirus and the importance of preventive measures.
To ensure the continuity of these voluntary and humanitarian efforts, the Dr. Fazlur Rahman Foundation was established with inspiration and support from the general public. Later, the foundation was renamed the Dr. Anna-Fazlur Foundation. Over time, the foundation has expanded its scope and is currently working in the following key areas:
Educational support for the poor and ultra-poor
Professional skill development training
Health and nutrition
Food safety
Safe water and hygiene
Disaster response
Disability support programs
At present, the foundation operates a central initiative known as the Education Development Programme (EDP), under which five associate organizations are functioning:
Education Development Programme (EDP)
EDP Skill Development Training Institute
Nandini Women Development Programme
EDP Computer Training & IT Solution
EDP Training & Convention Center
